I book 2 VIP Days a month so be sure to schedule early.

If you’re local, within 20 miles of East Lothian, Scotland then yes — I’ll gladly come to you. I’ll need decent internet speeds, a comfy chair and a desk to work from. Added bonus if you’ll provide tea & coffee!

VIP Days are reserved for existing clients or brands who have existing guidelines in place and I can review these before our work day.

Sadly not. Logos and brand development need research, strategy and a considered approach. It is not something which can be (or should be) completed in a day.

If you’re looking for a single page website then yes, we can achieve this if you’ve got everything ready from your side (domain name, DNS access, copy, images, platform subscription payment).
If you’re looking for more than a single page website then this will come under a new website build which I’d be more than happy to help you with

Book your VIP Day
Fill in my contact form to let me know you’re thinking about a VIP or you’d like to schedule a day with me. We’ll discuss your requirements and you’ll get confirmation of your intensive design day booking after your deposit is paid.
Prioritise + Prepare
I’ll send you a few questions about what you’re hoping to achieve within our 8 hour day, and request your guidelines if applicable. Then I’ll give you a call a week before to make sure we’re prepared to get the most out of our day.
VIP Day Arrives
If I’m not working from your office, we’ll schedule a quick call first thing to kick us off. It’s helpful for you to be around all day, and at 2 key feedback/approval points — I’ll be sending things regularly and may have questions too.
Final Deliverables + Support
Achieve that feeling of relief as things have been ticked off! I’ll pass on any final files we’ve created and then I’ll be on hand for any questions you have via email in the next 5 days.

What it’s like to work with me
FAQs for a VIP Intensive Design Day

You’ll let me know when works best for you within my availability, we’ll go through your to-do list and get you booked in after your 50% deposit is received.
Before your day comes around, I’ll need your prioritised task list, content and brand guidelines (I’ll have reviewed these already if you’re not an existing client).
We’ll have a call one week before you’re scheduled in to finalise things with you and make sure you have everything for us to maximise our time.
Your remaining 50% payment is due no less than 48 hrs before your scheduled date.

Absolutely! We can schedule video calls, share screens and use email to communicate if you’re not local or you’re out of the country when our day comes around.
If you’re in a different timezone (I am in the UK) then we can discuss this upfront and make a plan that works for us both.

I’ll need you to be around all day.
This doesn’t mean watching over my shoulder, it means being available at short notice to answer questions or jump on a call within a minute’s notice. I’ll need you to be available at two agreed points throughout the day for review/approval as well in order to progress positively.

As we’ll have deciphered the task list beforehand, I’ll have let you know what is achievable within our 8 hours together. If I think you’re going to need more time then I’ll be transparent and honest with you. At my discretion, I may offer you a half day VIP rate or discounted full day rate to complete your work.

I’ll need your brand guidelines if you’re not an existing client, I’ll need all final (proof-read) copy and all final high resolution images. The more content the better so that we can edit and curate to suit our needs.
I’ll also need any working files you want to work from if I don’t already have these, any references or resources to be used.
If we’re working on a webpage then you’ll need to make sure you have all login details or necessary access to things like domain names and DNS settings, as well as a payment method to purchase any subscription plans required.

Although it may not seem so on the surface, a VIP Design Day is great value for money. Scheduling and working on these tasks individually is more time consuming for all parties and therefore more costly. The efficiency achieved within 8 hours is where the value lies.
I have almost 2 decades (…no idea how I’m that old!) experience and have spent years mastering my tools. I’ve worked with a variety of clients, in different environments, and have refined my process in order to maximise efficiency without sacrificing quality. You’ll be in awe of how quickly I can work through out to-do list and it’ll still be unique, and look great.
In addition to this, you are the only client scheduled for that day which means no emails, calls or interruptions from other clients.
You are paying for exclusivity.

You’re more than welcome to book an additional day so we have 2 days back to back, or you can split it out across a couple of months.
