The Scottish Bee Company is an established brand centred around helping bees and pollinators thrive within rural and urban environments. And they make deliciously pure Scottish honey too. So, when they needed to refine their existing brand to create something more polished and timeless, it made sense to go back to their roots.

About the Project
After an initial chat to define how we could take their brand further, we set some milestones to guide our next few months and got to work. I started by expanding upon their existing brandmark into an asset which could be used across all mediums including their jars. With a fresh new colour palette, font pairings, and illustrations (with a little help from Andrew Bell), SBC now has a new holistic identity that’s easy to spot on a store shelf or recognised in the wild.

Ongoing support
Our on-going partnership and hive of activity means that we have weekly planning sessions to coordinate design production based on what’s coming up next in their marketing calendar. This has given us tonnes of space to bring their brand to life in stages while creating future-proof assets that function beautifully across their print and digital platforms.
With a fuller visual identity (and an already fantastic lineup of products), The Scottish Bee company has gone from strength to strength. Worldwide press, authentic brand traction, and exponential sales growth have all contributed to making SBC a force to bee reckoned with.
