About Revivre
Revivre is a slow-fashion, sustainable swimwear brand which uses repurposed ocean plastics to create luxe, timeless collections of reversible garments. With a growing following of ethically conscious customers, Revivre wanted to create an authentic brand logo to anchor its identity, develop a sense of community and pride, and attract more mindful travellers to its product range.
About the Project
With a strong sense of their identity, purpose and target market, the brand had already established its own vibe which I was able to use as a focus for the new logo.
It was clear that the colour palette needed to capture the essence of the business, and the moodboarding led to a collection of four key colours evoking a natural, organic feel of nature. The resulting rich palette of earth, ocean and plant-based colours offers a choice of contrast and gradients, and can be used interchangeably as appropriate with each brand asset, including social media which is a key element of their business strategy as they evolve.
The preferred logo option was my design echoing the movement of the ocean. Based on a wave with a cursive ‘R’ it has a lively feel and can be used both standalone or alongside the brand name. Modern but subtle, the logo has a beachy vibe that works well in the colour variations and different backgrounds.
Because the logo was going to be used extensively - digitally, in print and across social media - I created different versions to work in different spaces. And for use on garments, I designed an icon option within an imperfect circle which would transfer effectively onto the swimwear, ensuring that the ‘R’ mark kept its integrity while working within the embroidery parameters.
The new brand has been fully embraced and Revivre is all set to continue building its following with a solid, consistent brand.
